FAITH

"We need to trust in the Lord and in His timing that a positive response to our prayers and rescue efforts can occur. We exercise faith and remember that there are some things that must be left to the Lord. He invites us to set our burdens down at His feet."
Elder Richard G. Scott. April 2013 General Conference. "For Peace at Home"

"When you feel that there is only a thin thread of hope, it is really not a thread but a massive connecting link, like a life preserver to strengthen and lift you. It will provide comfort so you can cease to fear.  Strive to live worthily and place your trust in the Lord."
Elder Richard G. Scott. April 2013 General Conference. "For Peace at Home"

"An answer given by another person usually is not remembered for very long, if remembered at all.  But an answer we discover or obtain through the exercise of faith, typically, is retained for a lifetime."
Elder David A. Bednar. Feb 3, 2006, address to CES religious educators, "Seek Learning by Faith"

"If we have faith in Jesus Christ, the hardest as well as the easiest times in life can be a blessing."
Elder Henry B. Eyring. April 2012 General Conference. "Mountains to Climb"

"If the foundation of faith is not embedded in our hearts, the power to endure will crumble."
Elder Henry B. Eyring. April 2012 General Conference. "Mountains to Climb"

"Acting on even a twig of faith, allows God to grow it."
   Elder Henry Be. Eyring

"You need never be discouraged or afraid. The way through difficulties has always been prepared for you, and you will find it if you exercise faith."
      Elder Henry Be. Eyring

"FAITH in the Lord is TRUST in the Lord. We cannot have true faith in the Lord without also have complete trust in the Lord's will and in the Lord's timing.
     Elder Dallin H. Oaks

"Like the intense fire that transforms iron into steel, as we remain faithful during the fiery trial of our faith, we are spiritually refined and strengthened."
     Elder Neil L. Anderson

"He knows your sacrifices and your sorrows. He hears your prayers. His peace and rest will be yours, as you continue to wait upon Him in faith. Every one of us is more beloved to the Lord then we can possibly understand or imagine."
     Elder Hales

__________________________________________________________________________________________

I don’t know what I would do without the principle of faith. It makes seemingly unbearable times, bearable. Having faith that things will get better, has sustained me through so many hard times. Having faith that as long as I am doing my part things will work out, has brought me so much peace. I know that I need to develop my faith further, and learn to trust in Heavenly Father more. It is a work in progress. My patriarchal blessing says that I will need to use my faith in Heavenly Father’s service throughout my life. I have already seen that, and am so grateful for those words of my blessing.
